We are seeking proposals for workshops and webinars that aim to build insightful training and discussion on relevant topics of art practice, as well as ensuring new research, methods and techniques are being shared within the artistic community. Workshop and webinars will run online only.
Eligibility: Artists, researchers, curators, and academics working in any visual arts discipline.
All candidates for workshop/webinar activities are expected to be responsible for their own technical specifications. eg. online platform, webcam, reliable internet connection, etc.
Proposals for workshop/webinar must include:
Goal of the workshop/webinar proposal, describing who is it for (max 200 words) Bio of tutor’s (max 200 words) Website of the candidate (optional). One image to be used for social media to promote the activity (1200 x 1200 px resolution ) A profile picture (1200 x 1200 px resolution) (optional) A suggested materials list for the participants (workshops)
We expect workshops to have a minimum duration of 2 - 3 hours and webinars 60 to 90 minutes.
Proposals will be evaluated taking into consideration:
Relevance of the workshop or webinar Experience of tutors Workshop/Webinar goal, program, and outcomes Logistic and technical feasibility of the proposal
Workshops and webinars may be run in English or Portuguese.
We can offer a fee of 150 euros for workshop and webinar tutors (an invoice will be required). We promote all content on social media and our website (launching October)
