Hi. I am looking for co-writers and co-producers for two new album projects. If you're interested and the following information speaks to you, I'd love to hear from you. Please note, this is not a 'session job' so only contact me if you have time and want to get involved.
Please note, if you don't play the particular instruments mentioned here, but are a bonkers producer or programmer or anything else, but do want to get in touch, please feel free.
I am planning to record two albums and can start any time, and in some cases have made a start already and there are demos.
Number 1 is:
Weird french jazzy soulful chansons, some new and some Brel and Aznavour covers. I have some demos to indicate direction.
The basis with prepared piano and then I want to add other production and instrumentation.
For the new songs/chords I am inspired by Francois Roubaix:

but other composers too, french ones, will be interesting in terms of strange chords. I have a collection of links if interested, other than Roubaix.
Looking for Fender Rhodes player, songwriter and a 'strange instrumentalist' such as Ondes Martenot or other. Drum machinist or loopmeister perhaps too. No programmed music, all live and analogue (well mostly)
This is inspired by the simplicity of this:
i.e. the absolute essence of music without any unneccesary production or music added.
New songs will be written and created together.
What I'm after:
I'm looking for someone who does prepared piano, some instrumentalists who might play unusual instruments, even ondes martenot.
or things like cello, fluegelhorn, cembalo, you name it. At this stage is about trying out things.
Where there is involvement in composition or/and arrangement royalties are shares and terms are discussed with the person once a song is demoed. Credits are fully given on album and in all media and promotion for any capacity the musician will have added. Session fees can be paid at a stage where further recording activity happens after the initial writing process and this can be then discussed. It is also planned to take both albums on the road, and, as they both lend themselves to interesting small concert halls and also arts spaces, as well as traditional live venues, I am anticipating some income from touring in the next year and the year after. And I would love it if the musicians that recorded the album would become part of this.
Thanks for your time. Recording and writing can start in May.
