As the world seemed to pause for a few months, as public places became inaccessible and the fear of disease, the fear of others, the fear of mortality, the fear of future took over the collective psyche, how did we cope with enclosed spaces? This time, a literal box was formed around each body, for some a cage, for others a refuge. Let us be playful with the limitations of confinement, let us transform the closed-off, inside space into something liberating.
Being enclosed in one’s body & mind is the topic that unite all the artworks. "The Enclosed Garden" is a space inside of you that you choose to share with others. On this brand new web exhibition, 50 Enclosed Gardens coming from all around the world are meeting each others.

THE ONLINE EXPERIENCE
The Enclosed Garden is a multimedia experience designed by Heroines.
Alone, in silence, in front of their laptops, the audiences discover how artists perceive their physical and psychological enclosure in a virtual labyrinth.
Designed like a treasure hunt, you have to find your way through different rooms (pages) where artworks from different artfields and countries are interwoven. In each room, the combination of the artworks and the unusual web design will offer a physical experience that can trigger the SIGHT, the EAR and even the touch and the smell!
This WEB EXHIBITION empowers yourself to make a step forward and take up the courage to share artworks and personal notes that you would never share in a "normal life".
˘
