Illustrators and artists from Ukraine, Germany and Poland who work with the topics of gender equality and feminism and are interested in the implementation of socially significant projects and international cooperation, and are also ready to work with the topic of war, are invited to participate in the online laboratory. 10 project participants selected as a result of the open round will work with materials from the archives of partner organizations, and will also receive recommendations for independent work with personal stories. Illustrations based on archival research will be collected into a collective zine and presented at exhibitions in Lviv and Berlin in November 2023, together with the results of a summer residency program for young Ukrainian female artists, which will be recruited separately. The summer program provides a training program of practical direction with the support of experienced artists,
Joint work will last for 5 months and will include mandatory joint synchronization meetings at least once a month. Project participants will be offered various forms of group and individual work, mentoring support and lectures by invited experts. In addition, there will be a two-day offline networking event for all project participants in Berlin.
