Collective Z is looking for two artists with a developed body of work and a serious, sustained practice.
This is a curated open call. Two artists will be selected, each given dedicated wall space to present a single body of work in depth. Not a salon, not a group show: two concentrated presentations under one roof, built around the work itself.
We are not looking for a response to a theme. We are looking for a practice with a clear point of view and the discipline to sustain it — a body of work that coheres across many pieces and rewards close, repeated looking. The exhibition will be titled and curated from the two bodies of work we select.
This is the beginning of a longer conversation. Collective Z represents its artists and presents them at significant fairs; we are using this call to find artists we want to work with well past August.

Fees
A $45 submission fee accompanies each application and covers all six to ten works you submit. The fee supports the cost of jurying, studio visits, and presenting the exhibition.
A reduced rate of $15 is available to any artist for whom the full fee is a barrier. Email info@collectivez.com for the coupon code. No documentation required.
There is no hanging fee, and no participation fee for selected artists. Everything beyond the submission fee — installation, photography, press, and the opening — is carried by the gallery.
