thirdplat november 2026 open call cultural hybridity

Thirdplat invites artists and creators worldwide to submit work for its November 2026 online showcase, Cultural Hybridity.

When cultures meet, what takes shape? Through globalisation, traditions, languages, images and ideas move between places, bringing the local and the foreign, the old and the new into contact. We welcome work exploring how cultures mix, adapt, fuse or come into conflict in everyday life, communities and creative practice.

Submissions may include moving image, photography, writing, craft, sound, performance documentation and cross-disciplinary work.

Your work will be presented on a dedicated page featuring your artwork, accompanying text and artist information, and included in the November themed showcase. It will remain accessible through Thirdplat’s archive after the month ends, giving audiences an ongoing opportunity to discover your practice. Works may also be featured on our social media or in our newsletter.

Thirdplat also offers free personal artist portfolio webpages. By registering for an account, you can create a portfolio bringing your work and artist information together in one shareable space.
