This work is an exploration of the essence of human identity. The skull and ribs, created through the collage technique, serve as a metaphor for an X-ray - a tool that allows us to look beyond the physical shell of a person and glimpse their inner truth. The title “I See You/Myself Through” highlights the duality of perception: it’s about how we see ourselves and how we perceive others, about the desire for understanding and acceptance of the genuine human nature.

  
The eye placed within the skull symbolizes both self-reflection and the conscious act of understanding others. This “all-seeing eye” embodies the idea of looking beyond external masks, uncovering layers of vulnerability and truth.

This piece is a reflection on the future—not as something linear, predictable, or logical, but as a space of uncertainty and unfolding complexity. Life rarely moves in straight lines. More often, it bends, fragments, and slips beyond control. There is no fixed center here, no clear direction. Instead, layered paper fragments create a visual rhythm that assembles and dissolves in turns—mirroring the way we move through time, decision by decision, moment by moment.

Some elements appear dense and grounded, while others remain translucent and fleeting. Together, they form a visual map of expectations—how they’re built, and how they shift under the weight of reality.

_What Lies Ahead_ is not about fear of the unknown, but about learning to respect its unpredictability. It is a gesture of acceptance—of nonlinear paths, imperfect clarity, and the quiet courage it takes to keep walking.

This piece is a quiet embrace—a portrait of someone holding the weight of their experience not with fear, but with care. There is no conflict here. There is acceptance.

What we often call “darkness” doesn’t always need to be fought or fixed. Sometimes, it just wants to be seen, acknowledged, and allowed to exist.

The figure in this work is not broken, not at war. She is at peace. Her arms don’t grip—they cradle. Strength, here, is not in resistance, but in the ability to offer space to emotion without shame.

The layering of paper reflects the many selves we carry within: the forgotten, the forgiven, the ones still learning how to soften.

Like a lullaby, this work calls for silence—not emptiness, but presence.

It is a moment of peace between the self and its shadow, its past, its pain, its fear. No one is crying here. Everything is allowed to stay.

Inspired by the hymn O vis eternitatis by Hildegard von Bingen - a 12th-century German nun, mystic, composer, and visionary the piece reinterprets her praise of divine eternal power into a celebration of humanity’s enduring capacity to adapt, endure, and rise through life’s challenges.

  
Hildegard’s hymn exalts the force that “holds all things in its embrace,” and here, that force is reflected in the strength within us. The intricate layers, intertwined lines, and textures in this piece echo the complexity and depth of human existence, a visual metaphor for our struggles and triumphs.

**_"Dorothea’s Bed"_** is a visual narrative about the search for wholeness and the acceptance of different versions of oneself. The work delves into the inner world of a girl named Dorothea, reflecting on her past and remembering who she once was. These memories evoke mixed emotions: a longing for a lost part of herself and joy in becoming someone new. Dorothea feels that this former version still lingers in the corners of her subconscious, occasionally manifesting as a subpersonality that hinders her from fully embracing who she wants to be. Yet, she does not wish to erase this part of herself entirely. She values the echoes of her past, letting them live on as stories about the girl who was afraid but moved forward, closed off but loved, restrained but dreamed. Dorothea is both a memory and the present, the past and the future.
