For projects that develop alternative perspectives and explore the boundaries of digital tools, media and technologies. Research, experimentation, critical reflection and innovation are key.

This scheme applies to applications for projects initiated by professional makers, observers, agencies or cultural institutions. The projects contribute, in the context of digital culture, or in the context of a crossover between digital culture and other disciplines, to strengthening the quality, development or understanding of digital culture.

  
**The scheme complements the Fund’s following general objectives:**

  
a) promoting the development of artistic quality;

b) stimulating experiment and research;

c) supporting reflection and debate.

Makers, observers, design agencies and cultural institutions that position themselves within the field of digital culture may apply for a grant of €10,000 up to a maximum of €50,000 for projects covered by this scheme. The grant is a contribution to the total project costs, of which at least 20% must be covered by co-financing.

Digital Culture Grant Scheme

This Design Project Funding Scheme is designed to support projects that contribute to the quality, development or deepening of the design field. Central to this are the processes of artistic research, product development, reflection and debate.

Designers, observers, design agencies and cultural institutions that position themselves within the design field may apply for a grant of €10,000 up to a maximum of €50,000 for projects covered by this scheme. The grant is a contribution to the total project costs, of which at least 20% must be covered by co-financing.

Funding for Design Projects

**Architecture Grant Scheme:** For projects that contribute to the quality, development or understanding of the field of architecture in the broad sense, such as research by design, reflection and debate and the power of design in big social challenges.

When you have submitted your application, the Fund Desk will check if your application complies with the formal requirements of the Architecture Grant Scheme.

  
* **assessment:** An independent advisory committee will assess your application on the basis of the Architecture Grant Scheme. The committee advises the Fund’s Board.
* **prioritization:** If the total amount requested in the applications eligible for funding exceeds the budget available for that particular grant round, prioritization will take place.
* **decision:** The Board takes account of the committee’s advice in its decision on the rejection or provision of the grant. You will be notified about the result in a decision.
* **accountability:** If you receive a grant from the Fund, then you will have to comply with the obligations. Two weeks before the conclusion of your project, you will be asked by email to submit your accountability form in the application environment.
