These three films were made as part of theatre project Circus WTF - A show which deconstructs the form and performance of circus. As part of my research I interviewed and spent time with four Berlin based circus performers. We chatted about the compromises one must make to work in circus and in particular what it means to be a woman working in circus. We talked about bodies and babies, stereotypes and aging, fulfillment and finances, circus and art.

In 1885 Sarah Henley gets dumped by her fiance, so she decided to throw herself off the Bristol suspension bridge, she lives.  In 2014 Sarah talks about and other things that push us over the edge, it's not about suicide, well it is a bit, it's about love and what it makes us do.
