The exhibition "Big Bang of Art. Modernity meets prehistoric times" of the Hessian State Museum Darmstadt is created in cooperation with the Frobenius Institute, Frankfurt, and allows cave paintings and rock paintings to enter into dialogue with works of modernity.
The latest form of this mural today is street art and graffiti. They, too, are in attractive contrast and yet inseparable from the prehistoric murals.
As part of the upcoming special exhibition, we call for participation in our street art event on the 29th. April 2023. Is it enough for us until the 19th. March 2023 your designs on the topic "Urknall of Art. Modernity meets prehistoric times. The online voting runs until the 13th. April 2023. The winners of the six most popular submissions have white partitions (2 x 3.5 meters) available in front of our museum to realize their designs. The color is set. The street art event is embedded in the relaxed atmosphere of an open-air jam with music, drinks and street food. The "Big Bang walls" remain until the 25th. June, the end of the exhibition.
