non-city: street photography

What do you think of when you hear the term "street photography" ? Probably streets and big cities. We can't take the streets out of street photography, but you can get out of the city and go to smaller places. Because even outside the city it is worth doing street photography. So you don't have to go far from your front door to take interesting pictures. That is why we are linking an extra open call to this edition of the Brussels Street Photography Festival to put our Belgian street photographers in the spotlight with the theme "Non-City Street Photography" .

Brussels Street Photography Festival is our international street photography festival with an associated competition. To further emphasise the Belgian character of the festival, we are organising a side exhibition this year that starts from a free open call, this open call. Submit a maximum of 3 images on the theme 'Non-City'. This way you have a chance to win a place at the exhibition in RESET in Brussels and therefore at our street photography festival.

Non-City Streets

Streets are everywhere, so even outside the city you can go out on the street to photograph perfect coincidences or capture funny moments. A village festival, the local butcher or a paved front garden; outside the city is where you will encounter these in abundance. For a good street photo you do not always have to go and photograph in a busy city, the magic can also happen close to your front door.
