10 minute play contest

Beginning in December of each year, DAC invites playwrights from around the world to submit original 10-Minute plays. The plays go through a tiered reading process (author names and hometowns are kept anonymous from the judges). The top 10 plays will be performed at a free reading in late spring where the Grand Prize winner will be selected by a panel of judges, and the audience will select the People’s Choice Award. The 5 plays with the most votes will be fully produced and performed by local directors and actors at DAC’s Annual Festival in October.
