fukt magazine #21 – the unknown issue

FUKT is initiating its annual open call for outstanding artistic drawing positions for the 2023 edition. After launching 20 issues over the years, our next issue focuses on the concept of the 'unknown.' With an overload of information in society and in times of deep uncertainty, we all must embrace what we don't know enough about to ask the right questions or identify the knowledge gaps. We want to present the unseen, unfamiliar, unknown, and unremembered concerning the concepts of futures, histories, universes, the subconscious, spiritualism, dreams, deep secrets, aliens and strange worlds. The drawings can be abstract, realistic, sequential, conceptual, experimental, text-based, or purely visual, made in graphite or color pencil on paper, charcoal, ink, digital, mixed media, threads, drawing installation, 3D and more.
