The Creative Industries Fund NL offers this residency in collaboration with media art institution Videotage. The Hong Kong-based non-profit organization Videotage specializes in the promotion, presentation, creation and preservation of moving images and media art in all forms and languages.

The residency at Videotage encourages cross-over and experimentation, and offers an opportunity to learn from other perspectives and ideas. Participants are given the space to conduct research, broaden their network, and develop new work with a focus on social and urban dynamics in Hong Kong. They can explore new fields of work, broaden their creative practice, and produce work that pushes the boundaries of digital culture. The 2026 edition takes the concept of liminal space as a starting point and invites participants to explore this theme within the context of the residency.
