The Department of Art and Design at Binghamton University (SUNY) invites artists and designers to apply for a solo exhibition at the Elsie B. Rosefsky Memorial Art Gallery. The Rosefsky Gallery is a recently renovated 1,100 square foot exhibition space with 10-foot ceilings. The gallery presents an ongoing series of exhibitions, lectures, and seminars by visiting artists and notable alumni. Exhibitions will be approximately one month long, scheduled between August 2025–May 2028. All media will be considered.
The Department of Art and Design makes equity and inclusivity a priority within our programming decisions and work environment. The department supports the development and expression of art and culture across all communities. Artists and designers whose work reflects issues of diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion are encouraged to submit.
Please note that due to NY state restrictions on public funds, we are able to pay honoraria only to those with a US Tax ID. International artists are welcome to apply and if awarded an exhibition will be reimbursed up to $2,500 of related exhibition, shipping, and travel expenses.
