Cellar Artist Run Residency is now accepting applications for the 2024-2025 sessions

Cellar Artist Run Residency (CARR), located in the heart of Brooklyn's art district, Clinton Hill, invites artists over 21 from around the globe to apply for 2024-25 sessions. CARR offers artists a unique platform to immerse themselves directly in New York's dynamic art scene. It provides a pathway to participate in two New York and New Jersey group shows. Our collaboration with the MORA Museum of International Art in Jersey City allows for an exhibition each session. At the same time, our Brooklyn studio's common area, Yoonion Art Space, hosts a second group exhibition and optional open studio. This exposure is crucial for enhancing artist profiles locally and internationally.

Our supportive environment includes 24/7 studio access and optional workshops to foster professional development. The residency fee, ranging from $1550 to $3500, encompasses accommodation, studio access, and two group exhibitions, allowing artists to engage with the dynamic New York art community fully.
