The Award:
In collaboration with Witty Book (Turin), one un/represented, early-career photographer will develop and publish their first photobook. un/produced covers the full cost of the publication.
The selected photographer will work with Witty Books on bringing their project into book form, from the first conversations about the work through to the finished publication.
About un/fund
un/fund is the non-profit arm of un/produced. We exist to discover, promote and reward exceptional un/der-represented visual artists.
Since 2022, un/fund has run four editions, supporting visual artists through publishing awards, residencies, exhibitions, mentoring opportunities and financial grants. Each edition has been shaped by the artists who applied and by the partners we've worked with.
For our fifth edition, we're focusing on a single award: a first photobook. A book gives a body of work a lasting form. This edition, all of our support goes to one photographer and one book.
What we're looking for
A body of work with a clear voice, one that would gain something from being transformed into a publication.
