kunstverein hannover award – residency grants

Every two years, the Kunstverein Hannover awards three residency fellowships to emerging positions in contemporary art. Since the program was established in 1983, more than 50 artists have been supported. The fellowship program combines financial support, the provision of studio and living space, and the opportunity to present work in an exhibition at the Kunstverein Hannover.

The fellows live and work at Villa Minimo in the Hanover district of List. The studios are located in a rear building dating from the 1950s with a spacious garden, providing space for concentrated artistic production, exchange, and development.
