• The artist must be available to travel to the school in Folkestone for all workshop dates in January and February 2022 and to the Cheriton Light Festival in February 2022. Details of locations and dates are available in the creative brief on our website. • The artist will be responsible for installing and deinstalling the artwork(s) safely within the budget provided. • Artists need to have or be willing to undertake an enhanced DBS check. People United can support those who require a new certificate. • Artists must have £10m Public and Products Liability (PPL) insurance and £5m Professional Indemnity (PI) insurance. This is available with a-n The Artists Information Company for a reasonable membership fee. • We expect artists take regular lateral flow tests before visiting the school, including for interviews and to always follow government guidance around COVID-19.

Cheriton Light Festival

4600 GBP To cover all costs including artist fee, materials, production, installation, equipment, travel etc. We anticipate the artists fee to be a minimum of 12 days at £200-250 per day depending on experience. Payment will be made by invoice, 50% at the beginning and 50% on completion of the project.

A short video no longer than 5 minutes aimed at the Year 10 pupils covering the following: • Tell us about your creative practice and previous artworks • Tell us about what we could expect to create with you and how we would work together (e.g. artform/process/initial ideas). You will not be judged on the quality of your video production skills. You could use a mobile phone, record audio over a screen share/presentation or something else. We recommend recording the video in landscape mode. Please see the creative brief, available on our website for more details.
