2023 outdocs film festival
The International Outdoor Documentary Film Festival of China (OUTDOCS) is a global film award competition that introduces the audience to the eye-opening outdoor lifestyle with splendid world scenery, the progressive sports, and the adventure spirit of humanity.
Up to now, more than 2,000 films and documentaries from 102 countries or regions around the world were collected, covering sport spirits, adventure, outdoor culture, extreme sports, environment protection, travel stories, mountaineer culture and community and so on. Over 10 kinds of outdoor extreme sports were involved, including wingsuit flying, paragliding, climbing, rock climbing, ice climbing, canoeing, deep diving, ultra-running, cycling, etc. With broad coverage, rich content, and award-winning films and finalists in internationally renowned mountain film festivals, OUTDOCS enjoys its international influence.
The 6th international festival takes place December 2023 and is open to 2 types of films:
Documentary Short: motion pictures with a running time of 30 minutes or less
Documentary Feature: motion pictures with a running time of more than 30 minutes
