This artist’s project treats the book as a spatial object. Composed of abstract, blurred colour fields and subtle tonal shifts, the work invites the reader to perceive the sequence of pages as a landscape unfolding through time. Each spread functions like a horizon, a fragment of atmosphere rather than a representation. The spine becomes a vertical axis, and turning the pages resembles moving through layers of space. The book proposes reading as a bodily experience — an act of navigation rather than interpretation. It asks whether a book can be a landscape, and whether looking can become a form of wandering.

SpineScapes

Starting point of the project was the collections of herbaria held by major museums and botanical gardens around the world. This book explores collecting as a collective practice, in which epochs, people, and institutions both succeed and continue one another. The story of each herbarium sheet presented in the book is composed from museum stamps, handwritten notes, labels, and archival marks. In this way, we separate the specimen itself from the context that surrounds it while giving priority to the latter. The result is a poetic and visual investigation, culminating not only in the book itself but also in an extensive index of names, institutions, and geographical references.

_Exercises in Chance_ is an artist's book inspired by _Félix Candela. From Mexico City to Chicago: Rise and Fall of Experimentation in Concrete_. For the first time, l used the drafts of a book as material for a separate project. Fragments of pages came together on the spreads in random order – poetry of unintendedness.

The book investigates architect Félix Candela’s transition from Mexico City to Chicago, merging historical and editorial research. Its design translates the spatial logic of Candela’s thin-shell concrete structures into a visual and typographic rhythm— layered, tactile, and precise. The publication establishes a strong dialogue between content, form, and material, reflecting architecture as a process of thought and experimentation.
