Laura Skvirskaya

Throughout my life, the visual arts guided me like a compass, to explore myself and others. I was born in 1986 in Central Asia and moved to Belgium in 2001. My work examines the dialogue between figuration and abstraction, between imagination and reality. My visual language comes from the tension between light and shadow, color, movement, mood, literature and life.
