The state of Upper Austria annually awards state prizes for culture and talent promotion awards in recognition of outstanding artistic, cultural and scientific achievements.

  
**State prizes will be awarded in the following categories in 2025:**

* Fine arts
* literature
* Experimental and interdisciplinary forms of artistic work
* Cultural and humanities sciences

* The State Prizes for Culture are each endowed with 7,500 euros and are awarded for outstanding artistic work.
* The talent promotion awards are worth 5,400 euros each.
