The image represents a moment in which a person loses their thinking abilities due to the inability to fall asleep and becomes addicted to modern technologies.

Insomnia

"La petite mort" is a French term that literally means "the little death" and is used as a euphemism for orgasm. The term comes from the idea that sexual ecstasy resembles a brief loss of consciousness, similar to death, or a moment of relaxation of the body that accompanies sleep.

"BEFORE WE SINK" from the FIELDS OF DYSTOPIA series

This painting was created as a visual response to personal experience and reflection on contemporary events in the world, and as an abstract landscape, the painting evokes a field of dystopia. I record the moment between the state of consciousness and the complete helplessness of mind and body. The sinking symbolically hints at the end, and that end can be interpreted on a personal and collective level. Throughout my life as a young female artist forced to adapt to a society that is entrenched in totalitarianism, inhumanity, ecological disaster, as well as any kind of single-mindedness on a global level, a society that intimidates her and is hostile to humanist values. I record this moment as a critique of inertia and point to the final wake-up call.
