In addition to the creative focus and support offered in our two-week residency, this program is designed for artists who want to explore Spanish as a tool for connection. With daily beginner lessons, guided cultural visits, and practical everyday tasks, you’ll gain confidence using the language while deepening your relationship with place, people, and creative process.

This is not a tour: it’s an invitation to create together.

Over 7 days, you’ll learn how wool becomes woven fabric. From visiting rebaños to preparing dyes and weaving on floor looms, you’ll take part in each step alongside Jun B’atz’, a cooperative whose founder comes from a generational weaving family.

  
You’ll also explore local markets, architectural landmarks, inspiring landscape, and spend quiet moments connecting through conversation, and craft.
