An ethereal soundscape for a short film about an unexpected honour killing directed by my friend and creative colleague Ahmad Samara entitled "The Worst Day of my Life". 
The short film could also be seen as a form of narrative video art.

This is the end credits track for the short film "Bevor Ida Kam" (English title "Before Ida Came") directed by Dolunay Gördüm.
Dlovani string quartet recorded my string arrangement in Cologne and I provided the piano and additional sample instruments in addition to mixing the music in my Berlin studio.

"wHole" is a short film about sacrifices made out of love.

The multiple award-winning short was made using the pain-staking process of stop-motion. The sets and puppets with all their different facial expressions were created by hand with meticulous detail.

I had the opportunity to work with a wonderful creative team (Co-Directors Robert Banning and Verena Klinger as well as Laura Staab, Cam Tu Nguyen, Benjamin Vogel and Alina Filenberg) and wrote the music as well as finishing the sound design for the animated film. It will be released in its entirety online as soon as it finishes its festival run.
