Frog in a Well is my interpretation of the Japanese proverb “a frog in a well does not know the great sea.” People with disabilities have long faced isolation being confined to their homes due to poverty, inaccessibility, and mental health. During Covid everyone faced a similar isolation. This illustration represents my isolation. Working at my computer with the starry sky reflected on the decorative well cover, which represents the wider universe just out of reach. Frog in a well is accompanied by a 3d printed tactile version for the blind or visually impaired.
