This is an Open Call for contributors for _Playground magazine’s Issue 3_. Please fill out the application form below until August 19th, and we’ll be in touch to let you know if you’re in.

  
**Playground** is the magazine that dares to explore, question, and re-envision the creative industries. Through thought-provoking essays, reports, and bold, honest conversations, it’s where curiosity meets play and inspiration. Packed full of smart insights and egoless advice, Playground is a must-read for those working in, or curious about, Europe’s vibrant creative and cultural sectors.

This is our second time announcing an Open Call for submissions. The first one went extremely well - we didn't know what to expect, and almost half of Issue 3 turned out to be fueled by your submissions! We are super excited to see what amazing collaborations this round delivers.

  
Playground champions honesty, collaboration, longevity & play. We are looking for people who resonate with these notions, and share the vision of a more open and supportive industry. We highly encourage and support brave ideas, opinions, unexpected insights, and humour.

We are especially curious to hear 'local' pitches that are about patterns noticed in your own surroundings –ideas, people, trends – local but relevant for global audiences to learn about! 

We are proud to pay each contributor of _Playground_, discovered through Open Call or not. Our base offer is 1500SEK (Swedish Krona). Needless to say, each contributor will receive a copy of the magazine.
