Studio 88 Artist Residency invites applications for **SoulScapes: The Healing Arts Residency**, an immersive program designed for artists, art therapists, and healing practitioners seeking a dedicated space to explore, regenerate, and exchange holistic healing practices. This residency fosters a nurturing environment where creativity and well-being intersect, supporting those who work in healing arts to deepen their practice, restore balance, and share transformative methods.

  
Residents are encouraged to engage with one or more of the following practices:

  
• **Art Therapy** – Utilizing artistic expression as a tool for emotional and psychological healing.

• **Forest Therapy** – Connecting with nature to promote relaxation, reflection, and renewal.

• **Sensation Therapy** – Exploring sensory experiences to restore mind-body balance.

• **Sound Therapy** – Using sound vibrations and music for emotional and physical healing.

• **Water Therapy** – Embracing the therapeutic properties of water in movement, meditation, and artistic exploration.

• **Transformation Game** – Engaging in guided self-discovery and personal transformation techniques.

• **Cleansing & Regeneration** – Rituals and practices that aid in emotional and energetic cleansing.

• **Balancing** – Techniques and artistic processes that align and harmonize the body-mind-spirit.

• **Yoga & Massage** – Integrating movement and touch therapy for deep relaxation and restoration.

• **Empowering Therapy**– A space to revitalize practitioners, fostering self-care and resilience.

Art materials, travel and airfare to/from Thailand, visa fees, food and living expenses. Breakfast and dinner can be provided at the residency for an additional fee.

The residency fee includes various benefits tailored to support your artistic project. Residencies are typically brief, and we believe that early preparation is crucial to make the most of your time here and foster meaningful connections. Therefore, we prepare as much as possible beforehand by researching potential connections in the local art scene and making inquiries, so that everything is ready to start when you arrive.

* Two meals (self-service breakfast and shared home-cooked dinner at Studio 88)

* Technical support e.g. wood work, metal work, etc.

* Exhibition installation and dismantlement

We also provide the opportunity to conduct workshops, subject to availability of space and the target audience. Additionally, with some of our residents we have organised an exhibition after their residency stay, which has involved connecting with galleries, facilitating the agreements, installing the exhibition, and providing communication support.
