STROKE Art Fair Berlin - October 3th ot 6th, 2013

SINGLE ARTISTS

The art market is driven by constant change. As we look back in time, maybe just like 15 years ago, galleries and art dealers were ruling the market, deciding who's hot or not in almost a monopoly like game. Nowadays, by offering fast connections, hundreds of different platforms and social networks as well as easy to handle software applications, the Internet provides a most welcome self-marketing alternative for artists who prefer working independently or the ones who are still in search of a suitable gallery. Mirroring this development, for the first time this fall (October 3rd to 6th) STROKE Art Fair is opening for selected single artists to exhibit and sell their works on a professional level right next to established galleries, surrounded by an excited international audience.

Live Painting

Being a vivid art fair, STROKE Art Fair wants to present art in an accessible way for everyone, whether art collector, art lover or newbie. For this reason, during all fair days, our visitors will be able to watch artists paint, spray our tape new artworks live at STROKE Art Fair. Amongst others, the following artist will be performing: One Truth (Switzerland), WD (Wild Drawings) (Greece), Hannah Adamaszek (United Kingdom), Dimitris Ntokos (Greece) und many more.


Key Visual BY Vesod

I Am Jonny

„On October 14th, 2012 Jonny K. has been killed most brutally at Berlin Alexanderplatz. In December 2012, relatives and friends have founded „I Am Jonny e.V.“, which meanwhile has been recognized as non-profit association. Since then, numerous fellows share our goal giving us emotional support or engaging in various fundraising actions. Together we devote ourselves to the memory of Jonny. He was a peace-loving guy who stood up for and helped other people – until the very last moment. Our inducement is to avoid that this kind of violence is repeated at any place and at any time. STROKE Art Fair would like to share this goal and support I Am Jonny e.V. Therefore, we invited the founders of the association to be our guests and to start a fundraising-campaign during the fair with us.
