Since the first day of quarantine I gave myself two rules: do not think about the aftermath and do not accept video calls. At the beginning I was shaken by the adrenaline of curiosity about the strange situation, but you get used to everything, even a lockdown. 

I live in the countryside where the effects of coronavirus are less visible. This can be frustrating for a photographer, but at least the plenty of space and the nearby streets are a good safety valve for not suffering from the sense of claustrophobia.

I started taking pictures of what I saw inside my perimeter, or a little outside without the idea of wanting to tell something to someone. It was quite a different form of gym to occupy the present.

However, in the end I accepted a couple of video calls.
