Sarabande was founded by Lee Alexander McQueen CBE with a bold mission: to support the most creatively fearless minds of the future. We welcome individuals with a unique vision and unwavering dedication to their craft. Since its inception, Sarabande has nurtured over 280 artists and designers, each with their own distinctive approach, discipline and background.

Our studios are home to an inspiring and diverse community of artists, reflecting the wide range of talents Lee collaborated with throughout his career. They include sculptors, fashion designers, jewellers, textile designers, painters, performance artists, silversmiths and ceramicists. Sarabande is also home to filmmakers, animators, photographers, digital designers and visual artists. 

**Each resident at Sarabande receives:**

  
* A heavily subsidised studio (£1 per sq. ft per month)
* All utilities included
* Access to communal spaces and specialist equipment
* Free professional services (legal, accounting, etc.)
* Business mentoring and press/marketing support
* Opportunities for filming and documentation
* Invitations to all events and networking opportunities at Sarabande
