Summer gets hot and so do the people, the energy, the life. Buzzing around going to parties, pool parties, house parties. In the constant state of reapply the makeup and wiping of the water and sunscreen.

The outline of the faces are taking for a side profile of photo I took of a women standing on a street corner with Bright lipstick and designer sunglasses. She was in her element. Moving closer to the event or gathering that was calling her. 

She a Hot summer 

Double standards are put on everything in this world. You are this or that. You can.... be this BUT, you can't be that. This piece which is accompanied by bright colored triangles, are a representation of the outside world prying in to but standards on how you should show up in society. This creep in so much so that you have you have your own reflection of self looking back at you giving you the side eye. What is it that you are trying to be in the standards for?
