The PPL Momentum Music Fund offers grants of £5k-£15k for UK based artists/bands to break through to the next level of their careers. Activities eligible for support include recording, touring and marketing.

Managed by PRS Foundation, the PPL Momentum Music Fund awards grants of £5,000-£15,000 using funds from PRS Foundation, with support from PPL, Arts Council of Wales, Creative Wales and Arts Council of Northern Ireland.

You can apply for £5,000 – £15,000 to contribute to the development of you as an artist. We recommend you budget realistically to show what you need. Our average PPL Momentum Music grant is roughly £10,000.

PPL Momentum Music Fund

The Hitmaker Fund offers an opportunity for songwriters and producers working in popular music genres to further develop their careers and writing/production with grants of between £5,000 – £10,000.

Songwriters and producers are at the centre of the music industry, creating the content the whole industry is centred around. Supporting the creation and performance of new music is at the heart of what the Foundation does. With The Hitmaker Fund we’ll be supporting the creation of new music by investing in talented writers and producers to help them build their careers at crucial stages.

The Open Fund for Music Creators supports the development of outstanding music creators of all genres and backgrounds at different stages of their career with grants of up to £5000.

We are particularly interested in the quality of the music! We are interested in how your project will develop the music creators involved. You will need to tell us why this particular activity is so crucial to your creative or professional development. If you are a small performance group commissioning others, you will need to explain why your project is so important to the music creators you are working with. We are committed to supporting UK based songwriters and composers of all backgrounds.

The Open Fund for Music Creators offers grants of up to £5,000\. Please note that we cannot support 100% of the project costs and expect to see income from other sources as part of your application.

Open Fund for Music Creators

**Women Make Music** supports the development of outstanding women, trans and non binary songwriters and composers of all genres and backgrounds at different stages of their career. The fund can support projects by women, trans and non binary songwriters, composers, artists, bands and performers who are writing their own music.

The aims of **Women Make Music** are:

  
* To break down assumptions and stereotypes within the music industry by encouraging role models for future generations
* To raise awareness of the gender gap and to ensure that women are aware that support for new music is available to them
* To increase the profile of women, trans and non binary artists who are creating new music in the UK
* To encourage women, trans and non binary artists who may otherwise not have applied for PRS Foundation funding to do so
