Nationally established artists from Switzerland, active in all areas of the visual arts, can apply for these two productions grants. The next applications can therefore be submitted:

As a reminder: to offer more flexibility in the creative process, the START grants are now open year-round and can be a good support in the initial phase of a new project, before entering the production phase.

  
From January 2026, applications for the two support measures ‘production grant’ and ‘grant for production with presentation’ will be open **once a year, from 1 July to 1 September.** As with all the measures in which the applications are assessed by a jury, the start date of your project can, at the earliest, be four months after the application deadline, in that case the following 1 January.

Grant for production with presentation

As part of our ongoing efforts to improve our support measures for Switzerland’s various visual arts scenes, a change in the application dates for the production grants will become effective as of January 2026.
