We invite artists, performers, designers, and professionals in creative fields to participate in Art in Action 2027.
Art in Action aims to explore new ways of presenting art and creative projects while providing meaningful experiences and opportunities for professional networking among artists, art enthusiasts, and local and international audiences. Through challenges, collaboration, and commitment, we hope to inspire new cultural movements by blurring boundaries among cultural creators from different backgrounds and languages, as well as between creators and audiences.
[Art in Action: Live 2027]
Art in Action: Live 2027 is a one-day YouTube live-streaming event featuring pre-recorded and edited presentation/promotional videos, along with live Q&A sessions. The event is scheduled to take place on January 10, 2027.
Each presenter will showcase their project through a 10-minute pre-recorded and edited video, which may include artist talks, presentations, performances, experimental workshops, and documentation of artworks or creative projects. Each session will consist of 4–6 presentations, followed by a live Q&A session of approximately 20 minutes. The detailed schedule is subject to adjustment and will be announced at a later date.

Presenters will be featured in the upcoming book New Media Art 2028, which is expected to be published as a full-color paperback in December 2027.
[Exhibition] Art in Action: Concurrent Show 2027 at CICA Museum
Participating artists will take part in the group exhibition Art in Action: Concurrent Show 2027 at CICA Museum in Korea from December 23, 2026 to January 10, 2027.
CICA Museum staff will install the artworks on behalf of participating artists. Each artist may exhibit up to two works. Additional fees may apply if a work exceeds the specified size limits or requires special installation arrangements.
*Installation
– Photographs & 2D Digital Art
Selected works will be printed at 10 × 15 inches or 10 × 10 inches, framed, and installed by CICA Museum curators and assistants. Upon request, works may be printed and framed in larger sizes. Additional fees may apply.
– Video & Interactive Art
The museum will provide projectors and DVD/DIVX players for the exhibition. Multiple single-channel works may be screened using a shared projector. CICA Museum curators and assistants will install the work(s) according to the artist’s installation guidelines.
If a work requires the exclusive use of a projector or requires more than two projectors or monitors, please indicate these special requirements in your submission email. Additional fees may apply.
– Physical Work & Installation Art
Artists are responsible for shipping and delivering their physical works to and from CICA Museum, including all related expenses.
Two-dimensional works should be no larger than 39 inches (1 m) on the longest side, and installation works should be no larger than 39 × 39 × 79 inches (1 × 1 × 2 m, W × L × H). Wall-mounted works should not exceed 10 kg.
