Propuestas is a competition that was created in 1997 by the now defunct Arte y Derecho Foundation and whose call for entries is possible today thanks to Vegap.
The main purpose of Propuestas is to stimulate visual creation by funding artistic projects by authors who use visual creation to express themselves.
This is a unique competition of its kind, as it finances the creation and not the acquisition of works from each of the branches of visual creation: Plastic Arts, Illustration, Photography, New Forms of Artistic Expression and Design.
It is a competition conceived by artists to help artists. The purpose of these financial aid grants is to promote artistic creation by funding projects of those authors who express themselves through visual creations, enabling the development of their work, their research process and the creation of new works.
