In 2026, Lievegem will hold an art competition for an outdoor artwork at the entrance to its new administrative center: the "Huis van Lievegem" (House of Lievegem) in the Lovendegem district. The call is part of the "New Voices, Shared Stories" project. The winning artwork will be placed in the village garden, near the building's main entrance.

The Huis van Lievegem is a multifunctional building with a cultural hall and administrative services. It is situated in the heart of a green village garden of approximately one hectare. This outdoor area is a meeting place for young and old, with space for small events and gatherings. The building and the park are strongly connected: the terrace and entrance plaza create a seamless transition from indoors to outdoors.
