xxl textile variations exhibition

Are you a textile artist, designer or visual artist, and does your practice explore sewing, weaving or the recycling of textile materials? Do you create unique and innovative textile works? This call for applications is for you!!

OpenBach invites you to participate in its new group exhibition on textile art: XXL TEXTILE VARIATIONS - 2026 in collaboration with the City of Fontenay-Sous-Bois and its Department of Cultural Affairs.

The exhibition will take place for more than two months in the 650m2 Nave of the Halle Roublot in Fontenay-Sous-Bois, a magnificent and large space to present your work. 

Here are some examples of expected practices: tufting, arm-knitting, embroidery, knitting, crochet, needlepoint, weaving, patchwork, tapestry, screen printing on textiles ...

In our selection, we will give equal importance to small, meticulous pieces as to monumental and immersive installations.
