expand via linda senior center public art project
Scottsdale Public Art is accepting qualifications from artists for a permanent public art opportunity for the Via Linda Senior Center Expansion project in Scottsdale, Arizona. The City of Scottsdale and Scottsdale Public Art are collaborating on a new public art commission that will feature a permanent art installation. Scottsdale Public Art—a department of Scottsdale Arts—seeks to contract an artist to design, fabricate, and install artistic features at the Via Linda Senior Center, located at 10440 E Vía Linda, Scottsdale, AZ 85258, near Via Linda and Shea Boulevard. The final selected artist will receive $45,000 for the realization of the art.

February 2026: Artist selection and contract development
March–June 2026: Community engagement, design, and approval
October 2026: Fabrication
November 2026: Site prep and installation
Winter 2026–27: Project completion
