call for public art: tallassee roundabout

The Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County (ACCGov) invites professional artists to submit qualifications for a large scale, 3D artwork for the Tallassee Road roundabout in Athens, Georgia. The selected artist(s) will work with stakeholders and government staff to create a public artwork that enhances the user experience and complements the selected site.

Site Description: 

The site for public art will be at the center of the roundabout at Tallassee and Whitehead Rd. The size of the roundabout’s center is approximately 70 feet in diameter. Landscaping has been installed, but can be moved as needed to allow for the installation and artwork.
