Huntington Park Left Field Building Mural
This project represents a unique chance to enhance a public space and foster civic pride by celebrating the intersection of Columbus and Clippers culture and history
What We’re Looking For: The artwork should be inspiring and create a memorable and engaging public experience that reflects the culture, history, energy and shared rituals of baseball in Columbus, while offering artists the opportunity to interpret the deeper social, emotional, and temporal dimensions of the game in original and unexpected ways.
Key Considerations:
Scale and Visibility: Final artwork should be appropriately scaled to a brick wall on a central plaza with heavy pedestrian traffic.
This mural must be an original artwork.
Material Requirements: The work should be durable and suitable for outdoor installation. Must withstand Ohio’s seasonal weather conditions, including snow, rain and direct sunlight. Visual elements should be recognizable at a viewing distance of at least 10 feet.
