The Festival Eñe, the magazine Cuadernos Hispanoamericanos (AECID) and the Casa de Velázquez are launching a new call for applications for a three-month Creative Writing Residency in Madrid for writers living in Latin America or the Caribbean and writing in Spanish. This residency is part of the 17th edition of the Festival Eñe, which will be held in the Spanish cities of Madrid and Málaga from 8 to 30 November.

The residency is from 20 September to 20 December 2025 and it is open to writers with at least two books published by commercial publishers (the last one in the last four years). The purpose of the call is to promote the development of a literary project, providing the necessary time, space, and resources.
