10 years of the Akropoditi DanceFest – 10 years of dancing summers in Syros!
For the anniversary edition of our 10th festival, we invite you to submit your proposals consisting of your chosen work which you would like us to include in our curriculum.
The 10th International Dance and Performing Arts Festival of Akropoditi DanceFest 2023 aims to reintroduce the island of Syros to all of us, mainly though public and open spaces, utilizing places and landscapes and performing in, as many as possible, both familiar and unexplored places of the island.
To fulfill our purpose you are kindly invited to suggest concepts which can be applied not only indoors but outdoors as well. We seek for inspired imaginative and experimental performances portrayed with boldness in matters of both conception and execution, always taking into consideration that performances will mostly/ ideally take place in unconventional and even controversial places.
