Submissions for the 13th edition of BREEDBEELD Short Film Festival run from March 15 to August 13, 2025. Submitting your film is free.

From 6 to 9 November, short films by promising filmmakers will be shown in De Cinema in De Studio in Antwerp. Fiction, animation, documentary and experimental work will be on the agenda. The short film festival is open to films by all makers and all genres. The main condition is that your film was made WITHOUT VAF subsidy, wildcard budget or commissioned by a production house or broadcaster.

In addition to the competition films, there will be guest programs and various specials, talks and workshops.
