The purpose of this Call is to select five artists to execute artistic interventions (murals) in the public space of the Universitat Politècnica de València in Spain. Please note: You can see all the available walls/spaces in the downloadable details "Bases" document on our open call site!

The awarding procedure consists of the following processes:

1. Application submission: Along with the rest of the documentation, the applications must be submitted in the manner, place, and time stipulated in the third clause of the Call. Submission of the application implies acceptance of these Rules, as well as the own obligations derived from the legal framework regarding grants and subsidies.

2. Publication of the provisional list of accepted and excluded applicants: The Governing Body will publish the provisional list of accepted and excluded applicants on designated websites and, if applicable, it will indicate the reasons for exclusion. The interested parties will have a period of 5 days to provide the applicable statements and/or rectifications. A reduced period of 5 days has been established due to the urgency of starting the administrative actions related to the organization.

3. Publication of the final list of accepted and excluded applicants: The Governing Body, after taking into account the statements and/or rectifications, will publish the final list of accepted and excluded applicants for the procedure on designated websites. In addition, it will notify all interested parties via email.

4. Scoring: The Selection Committee will evaluate the applications based on the objective granting criteria established in Rule Five and will issue the corresponding justified report. The applications will be ordered from highest to lowest, based on the score obtained, thus determining the order of granting these awards. The Selection Committee may declare any of the awards to be null and void due to the candidates not reaching the quality demanded or for other reasons that would be duly justified.

5. Proposed final decision: The Governing Body, taking into account the reports issued by the Selection Committee and the record, will prepare the duly justified provisional final decision proposal. A period of 5 business days will be granted to submit the statements and/or attach the documents deemed appropriate for this proposed final decision. Taking into account the statements provided, the Governing Body will elevate the proposed final decision to the Rector.

6. Final decision: The Rector will issue the justified final decision of the final granting. In addition, they will notify all interested parties via email. The beneficiaries must confirm the acceptance of the award or decline it within 5 days following the notification thereof.
