The Dexter Jones Award of $5,000

The jury will determine the recipient based on an outstanding work of sculpture in bas-relief. The use of figurative or realist sculpture or sculpture that is inspired by nature, is of greatest interest.

Named in honor of Dexter Jones (1926-1986), a Fellow of National Sculpture Society, the award was first presented in 2001. In addition to being an accomplished sculptor of portraits and works in the round, Jones created several outstanding bas-reliefs in his lifetime.
