Unbound (UNBD) is a contemporary art space in the heart of Seoul, dedicated to supporting artists through exhibitions and collaborative projects. UNBD hosts in-person exhibitions and events while also extending its reach through international online open calls that invite global artists to participate and present their work in our digital programs.
This open call welcomes works across all media and formats under the theme Peripheral Vision. Drawings, videos, unfinished paintings, process-based works, and experimental practices are all encouraged. We are particularly interested in works that reveal the artist’s position as an observer within rapidly changing environments—through emotion, hesitation, repetition, and quiet persistence. Whether subtle or explicit, each submission should reflect a personal way of seeing and sensing the present moment. We look forward to works that demonstrate how an artist’s distinct perspective and sensibility can generate new images and narratives.
