The TrueQué residence will take place in a large house in the town of Ayampe in the province of Manabita, on the coast of Ecuador, Pacific Ocean. It is a village of no more than 500 inhabitants, where the original residents are mainly dedicated to the production of tagua, coffee, seafood, wood, besides the tourism that has begun to develop in the area. In the mountains surrounding this beautiful place there are the last tropical rainforests that grow near the sea. It is a place rich in flora where the sound of the sea prevails in the breeze.
Please note that the residence does not have a printer, air conditioner or washing machine (there is a manual washing machine), but all other household equipment is quite complete. It is not necessary to bring a sleeping bag, in the residence we will provide clean sheets for everyone. If you are a cold person we recommend you to bring an extra blanket.
In the residence we include breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, coffee, tea and water. If residents wish they can also eat in the village. A plate of food in Ayampe can cost from $3 to $10, depending on the dish. There is also the option of cooking in the house. Group dinners or outings to the village can be arranged, depending on the group.
We remind you that you must have your own travel insurance if you wish to do so, as we do not cover this type of mishaps, apart from providing all the help in case of any discomfort, but we cannot be held responsible for any accident that may happen.

If scholarships are offered, this will be informed to those selected in due time. The residency has a capacity for 12 people. 6 foreigners, 6 nationals. The dormitories will be shared in a house in Ayampe. It has a kitchen, living room, work area, hot water, sheets and wifi.
