poemx 2026: visual poetry open call «en red»

Poemx is a visual poetry festival that takes over the streets of Córdoba (Spain) every year, turning the city's historic centre into an open-air gallery. The 2026 theme is «En red»: the networks that connect us, hold us up and press on us. We want to explore the visible and invisible ties that bind us and run through us: networks of affection, family and care; digital, social and information networks; professional, urban and mobility networks; networks of solidarity; networks of influence, surveillance and pressure.

The call is open to anyone, individually or as a collective, regardless of age, nationality or career. Any technique is welcome: vector graphics, illustration, photography, digital or hand-made collage. Works may be new or previously published.

A jury specialised in visual poetry assesses the works anonymously, looking at artistic quality, originality, dialogue with the theme and how well the piece works in public space. Last edition, Poemx received 1,002 works from 42 countries and 220 cities.

Poemx is created by the Nadie collective, the publication Preferiría no hacerlo and Boek Visual.
